Live With Passion- I have painted this for a wedding gift of friends of ours. He is a pastry chef and they both have the love of good food and great wines. I am sure they will make a talented pair and with their passion who knows what they are capable of doing together! Prints will be available of this image shortly, I will keep you posted.
Well as you have noticed I am so far behind in blogging. Summer here in Naramata becomes very busy with famly and friends and it is so gloriously beautiful it is hard to get down to staying indoors and working. Alas I have finished a new painting that is a gift for someone but I will be making prints shortly from it. I will post this picture next. Here is one of my best friends visiting, Alison.
I have painted a pair of Conerse runners. On the shoes I have a wine theme and Koye fish. I have primed them first where I want the paint then have used acrylic paint and sprayed them with a protective finish. One has to be somewhat careful to avoid water and not to over use because it still is art! $260 They are now at Hillside Winery.
This is a larger painting of a dog called Sprocket that I did for customers. He likes to smile and is an inspector, his home will be in their wine cellar. This photo did not pick up the rich colors that are in the painting.
‘ Is It Friday Yet’ here is a new poster put out for Dirty Laundry Vineyard. They are available through the Dirty Laundry Winery in Summerland. Rumour has it that years ago this winery is situated at a site where the men would come to the Chinese Laundry that was there as well as a brothel.
Hi, I know I have not had a new post in the past days but I am busy working on a commision for someone of their dog and as well have been looking into doing some Giclee prints on canvas. I have done a few in the past and people seem to like them, so I went and had a photographer take some shots of my some of my paintings that I have and they are ready on file to be able to print in various sizes and prices. So if anyone has any inquiries about certain images and prices just send me an e-mail. So wonderful to see the sun today!
Just visiting my family and my daughter who just came back from university for the summer. She always makes me laugh and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!
Had a great time visiting family in Victoria, and took in a Garden Tour. It was amazingly creative. Would recomend it to anyone and falls on Mother’s Day weekend every year.
